Pro online gambling campaigners hope to change the situation in the igaming market in the coming year. The attempts in liberalization of gambling industry in the US damped in 2014 as no other states except for Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware joined in the promotion of online gaming services and regulatory policies. Such a situation disappointed the international igaming providers intending to enter the market.

As a result of severe US gambling laws, the three states with igaming gave a rather small profit.

A strong anti-online gambling lobby from casinos and leisure providers present at Federal level put obstacles in the way of introducing wide state online gambling services and policies.

However, the online gambling operators are hoping for the adjustments in this sphere in 2015, as they present the Senate new market expectations that correspond with the US igaming legislature.

A financial data analyst Eilers Research in December report “US iGaming Outlook for 2015 and Beyond” admitted that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s team valued about $180 million in tax during the year of work, while in reality the amount was a tenth of that sum.

American sporting bodies also are for the necessary changes in legislation as to sports betting. NBA Chief Commissioner Adam Silver in late 2014 expressed the idea to control betting at federal level to secure the consumers as they spend more than $400 billion in illegal betting terminals. Together with Silver the support was also expressed by the American Gaming Association (AGA).

Pro igaming campaigners hope to change the situation after legalization of online gambling in California with its population of 38 million.

PokerStars, owned by Amaya Gaming of Montreal, is one more hope for improvements in online gambling in the US. This leader of online poker worldwide is intending to enter the New Jersey igaming market in cooperation with Atlantic City Resorts Casino in 2015.
